About
The Island is small enough to change.
Moonshots Jersey is an annual challenge to Jersey's next generation: find something that could be better, imagine a radically better answer, and help us prove it can work.
Each year culminates in one extraordinary day bringing together young Islanders with the people, organisations, expertise and capital capable of turning the strongest Moonshots into reality. The masterbrand is permanent; the theme changes. In 2027, the challenge is Let's Fix Jersey.
Not because Jersey is broken. Because it can be better — and because the people most likely to improve it haven't been handed a microphone yet.
What it is
This isn't another conference about Jersey's future. It's a place to start building it.
Jersey is small enough to change. We can identify a problem, find the right people, try something, learn quickly and make it better.
So each year we ask the Island's next generation one question: What would you fix? Young Islanders bring the ideas. We bring together mentors, expertise and backers. The strongest Moonshots are tested before June, presented in public, and the best move towards real pilots — with the results reported back to Jersey, including what didn't work.
How it's run
Independent. Non-partisan. Not-for-profit. No political affiliation, no party platform, no hidden commercial agenda.
Principles
- Young people first.
- No party politics.
- Ideas over status.
- Optimism without naivety.
- Action over applause.
- Jersey can be better.
